Why horsetail is a problem in Hirwaun
On Hirwaun properties, horsetail roots reach two metres down, shrug off most garden weedkillers and push up through lawns, borders and block paving year after year. Hirwaun sits at the top of the Cynon valley near the Brecon Beacons, where industrial estates and roadsides spread weeds from site to site.
