    GPS Visit Logs

Slip claims and the duty of care

Under the Occupiers' Liability Acts you must take reasonable care that visitors are reasonably safe. In practice, defending a slip claim comes down to whether you can show a documented winter plan and evidence that you acted on it. GPS-logged gritting records are the single most useful document an insurer can be handed.

    Season contracts and one-off call-outs

Most clients take a fixed-fee season contract from October to April, which keeps the per-visit cost low and guarantees priority attendance. Pay-per-visit and reactive snow clearance are available, but attendance is subject to capacity during severe weather events.
