Most spread is caused by the mower, not the plant
Japanese knotweed rarely sets viable seed in the UK. It travels because someone strimmed it, moved soil through it or fly-tipped arisings — which means a single trained operative can prevent an entire estate becoming a liability. Awareness training is by far the cheapest control measure available to a landowner.
Who takes the training
Local authority grounds teams, housing association repairs staff, main contractors' groundworkers, highway maintenance crews, estate managers and surveying practices. Sessions run at your premises, and we can cover multiple depots on a rolling programme.
