Why moss is a problem in Porth
On Porth properties, moss holds water on paths, drives and roofs, making surfaces dangerously slippery and shortening the life of the surface beneath. Porth is where the Rhondda Fawr and Rhondda Fach meet, so weeds carried down both rivers settle on its banks and back gardens.
