Why curly waterweed is a problem in Hirwaun
On Hirwaun properties, curly waterweed submerged growth fills ponds, canals and fishing lakes, crowding out native aquatic plants and snagging boats. Hirwaun sits at the top of the Cynon valley near the Brecon Beacons, where industrial estates and roadsides spread weeds from site to site.
