Why ground elder is a problem in Pontardawe
On Pontardawe properties, ground elder brittle white rhizome regrows from every fragment, so digging alone usually spreads it further through borders and hedge lines. Pontardawe sits on the River Tawe north of Swansea, where the riverbank and Swansea Canal are well-known balsam and knotweed corridors.
