Why water primrose is a problem in Ystalyfera
On Ystalyfera properties, water primrose forms floating mats over ponds, lakes and slow drains, deoxygenating water and blocking flows. Ystalyfera is in the upper Swansea Valley, where steep ground, the Swansea Canal and old works land hold invasive weeds.
