Why running bamboo is a problem in Bargoed
On Bargoed properties, running bamboo running rhizome crosses boundaries, lifts patios and can enter cavity walls and drains — increasingly the subject of neighbour disputes. Bargoed sits above the Rhymney river, where regenerated colliery land and the valley railway give weeds an easy route in.
