Why goosegrass (cleavers) is a problem in Abercynon
On Abercynon properties, goosegrass (cleavers) scrambles rapidly over hedges and borders, smothering new planting and seeding heavily within a single season. Abercynon is where the Cynon meets the Taff, so weeds washed down both rivers collect on its banks and allotments.
