Why horsetail is a problem in Wokingham
On Wokingham properties, horsetail roots reach two metres down, shrug off most garden weedkillers and push up through lawns, borders and block paving year after year. Wokingham's old market town centre sits near the disturbed floodplain of the Emm Brook, and the former railway sidings and disused brickworks nearby have given knotweed room to establish.
