Build your brief
Start with goals, preferences and budget: how you use the garden, views from the house, privacy and the upkeep you can manage. Send your own garden photos and any existing measurements when we contact you.

Assess and develop a concept
Site measurements, soil, drainage behaviour, sunlight and existing planting inform a workable concept. Discuss plant and material choices against your plot's conditions rather than assuming the illustrated garden can be reproduced.

Refine and plan the next stage
Give feedback on the proposed layout and agree which revisions and drawings are included. Clarify what is ready for installation quotations, any further specifications needed and how construction or irrigation planning will be coordinated.
Discussing the specialist's offer
Heritage's bespoke design process includes CAD drawings to help visualise the proposal and revisions guided by customer feedback. CAD is a Heritage offering, not a promise about every independent designer. Confirm consultation, survey, drawings and revision deliverables before commissioning.
