Why running bamboo is a problem in Leamington Spa
On Leamington Spa properties, running bamboo running rhizome crosses boundaries, lifts patios and can enter cavity walls and drains — increasingly the subject of neighbour disputes. The River Leam runs through the Regency parks of Leamington Spa, and the town's former spa bathhouse sites and canal wharves along the Grand Union Canal have all contributed to persistent knotweed colonies.
