Why suspected knotweed is a problem in Pontardawe
On Pontardawe properties, suspected knotweed bindweed, houttuynia, dogwood, russian vine and bamboo are all mistaken for knotweed, which triggers unnecessary panic during a sale. Pontardawe sits on the River Tawe north of Swansea, where the riverbank and Swansea Canal are well-known balsam and knotweed corridors.
